You may check out books if you reside in the Yotsukaido city or if you work or go to school in the city.

For those who want to check out books, please bring some identification (such as your license, student identification card or health insurance card) which can verify your name and place of residence.
Please complete proper registration procedures at the Book Return counter (B1Floor children's counter).
We will then issue you a library card immediately.

In case you lose your library card or change your address, please inform us as soon as possible.

Checking out books and AV materials

Please bring the books you want to check out and your library card to the Book Return counter.
You may check out up to 10 books and 3 items of AV materials (compact discs, cassette tapes and records) for a period of 2 weeks.
(if you check out 3 pieces of AV materials, you may not check out more than 7 books)

Returning books and materials

Please bring your materials you borrowed to the circulation desk.
Your library card is not necessary.
If the library is closed, books can be placed in the "bookdrop" located at the entrance.
Please do not put CDs and cassette tapes in the "Bookdrop", return it on the 2nd floor of AV counter.
You can return the books at the public center (KO MINKAN in Yotsukaido, Asahi and Chiyoda) and the Bookmobile "Dream-go".

Request service

If the book is being borrowed, you can reserve it.
You will be informed on its return.
If we don't have the book, we will purchaseit or obtain it from other branches.

Copy service

Self-service copy machine is available.
You are welcome to make photocopies of library materials within the limits of copyright laws.
Fee \ 10 for one zerox page.
Applicants must fill out a form at the counter.
We can not exchange any money.

Bookmobile "Dream-go"

The Bookmobile "Dream-go" visits 16 stations in the Yotsukaido city every 2 weeks.
You can borrow, return and reserve books in thebookmobile as well.
